The Southfield City Council will be suspending long-standing safety ordinances that prohibit hunting and the discharge of weapons in residential areas — putting children, pets, homeowners, and property at risk.

They have approved archery hunting and firearm sharpshooting of deer within city limits.

❌ This is not wildlife management — this is a public safety crisis.
